Pressure Differential Switch

  1. Connect one end of a vinyl tube to front brake bleeder screw and place other end in a container half-filled with clean brake fluid. Loosen bleeder screw. Turn ignition switch to ON position and ensure ABS warning light flashes then goes off.
  2. Depress brake pedal several times and ensure ABS warning light illuminates, because pressure differential switch is on.
NOTE: One person should hold vinyl tube to prevent tube from being disconnected when brake pedal is depressed.
