System Test: PS-3

  1. Indicates failure of vehicle speed sensor or wiring harness (control unit-to-instrument cluster). Check vehicle speed sensor. See VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR TEST. If speed sensor is okay, go to next step. If speed sensor is not okay, replace speed sensor.
  2. Check for continuity between terminal 1U (Green/Red wire) of instrument cluster connector and terminal "K" (Green/Red wire) of control unit connector. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring harness between control unit and instrument cluster. If continuity is present, replace control unit.
