Throttle Body: RX7

  1. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  . Drain cooling system. On Turbo models, remove intercooler, oil filler pipe and Accelerated Warm-Up Solenoid (AWS) valve. See Figure .
  2. On all models, remove throttle body air intake tube. Disconnect all necessary vacuum and coolant hoses, control cables and electrical connectors from throttle body.
  3. Remove throttle body and dynamic chamber as an assembly. Remove throttle body from dynamic chamber. To install, reverse removal procedure using new gaskets. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
