TPS Inspect & Adj: Adjustment

Warm engine to operating temperature. Turn engine off. Connect Checker Light (49 F018 001) to Green 3-pin test connector. See Fig 2 . Turn ignition on. If one of the lights comes on, TPS is adjusted correctly. If both or neither lights come on, turn the throttle position sensor adjusting screw until only one of the lights illuminates. See Fig 3 .
