Airflow Meter/Sensor Inspection (MPV 2.6L): Notes

  1. Pull rubber boot back from airflow sensor connector. Check terminal voltages. See Fig 1 . See AIRFLOW SENSOR TERMINAL VOLTAGES  table.
  2. If voltages are not correct, check wiring for open or short. If wiring is okay, check burn-off operation. If ECU control of burn-off operation is okay, and voltages are still incorrect, replace airflow sensor.
