Retrieving Codes
- Test drive vehicle. DO NOT turn ignition off. On B2200, B2600 and MPV, locate Blue ABS 3-pin check connector in engine compartment. Attach a jumper wire to terminal "C" (Gray/White or Yellow wire), and momentarily ground it to chassis. See Fig 1
. ABS warning light should begin to flash.
- On Navajo, locate diagnostic connector under left side of instrument panel. Attach a jumper wire to terminal, and momentarily ground it to chassis. See Fig 2
. ABS warning light should begin to flash.

- On all models, a flashing pattern starts with a number of short flashes and ends with a long flash. Count all short flashes and include the following long flash to identify malfunction. See DIAGNOSTIC CODES IDENTIFICATION TALBE.
- The same flashing pattern will repeat until ignition is turned off. If more than one code is stored, only one fault code will be flashed. After fault has been repaired, any remaining code(s) will be flashed one by one.
- If a flashing pattern cannot be obtained, check brake fluid level and ABS fuse. Test control unit, and check for a grounded check connector lead. See COMPONENT TESTING under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
- After indicated fault has been corrected, test drive vehicle, and recheck diagnostic system for other stored codes.
