Gearshift Linkage: 2.5L
- Remove center console. Place gearshift lever in "P" position.
Loosen selector cable mounting bolts. See Fig 1
. Push selector
lever against "P" range; hold it in this position.
- Tighten selector cable mounting bolts. Ensure starter operates
in "P" and "N" positions only. Ensure position of gearshift lever and
indicator correspond with each other.
- Ensure lock button returns after it has been depressed. Ensure
gearshift lever operates smoothly when engaged in all positions.
Install center console.
