Recirculation/Fresh Air Select Circuit

  1. Remove logicon switch assembly from vehicle. Connect a 12-volt battery to terminals "L" and "d". See Fig 1. Connect a jumper wire between terminals "M" and "L" of logic control panel connector.
  2. Connect a resistor of at least 1000 ohms between terminals "B" and "O". See Fig 2. Measure voltage between terminals "B" and "O". Approximately 12 volts should be present.
  3. Connect a resistor of at least 1000 ohms between terminals "d" and "B". Check voltage between terminals "B" and "O". See Fig 2. Voltage should be less than one volt. If voltage is NOT less than one volt, replace logicon switch assembly.
  4. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals "N" and "L". See Fig 1. Verify continuity between these terminals with recirculation/ fresh selector switch in fresh (out) position. If continuity does not exist, replace logicon switch assembly.
  5. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals "P" and "L". See Fig 1. Verify continuity between these terminals with recirculation/ fresh air selector switch in recirculation (in) position. If continuity does not exist, replace logicon switch assembly.
