Removal & Installation (929)

  1. Release fuel pressure. Remove dynamic chamber cover and dynamic chamber. Disconnect injector electrical connectors. Disconnect vacuum and fuel hoses. Remove fuel rail, injectors and pressure regulator as an assembly.
  2. Remove grommets, injectors and insulators from fuel rail. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use new injector "O" rings. Apply a small amount of engine oil to "O" rings before installation. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
