Auxiliary Port Valve Actuator (Non-Turbo)

  1. Auxiliary port valve in intake manifold is operated by a vacuum controlled actuator. Remove hose from actuator. Install pressure gauge on line fitting.
  2. Apply low compressed air to the actuator and check operation. Actuator should start to move at approximately 1.2 psi (.08 kg/cm2 ) and be fully opened with 2.1 psi (.15 kg/cm2 ) applied. Replace actuator if not within specification.
