Axle Ratio Identification

NOTE: All Mazda models use one basic type of rear axle assembly. Any differences in servicing procedures will be noted where they occur.

Axle ratio on B2000 is 3.91:1. On RX7 it is 3.91:1 with automatic transmission and 4.10:1 with manual transmission. To manually determine axle ratio, divide number of ring gear teeth by number of pinion teeth.
