Oil Pressure Meter
- Remove connector from sending unit. Connect red lead wire of Checker (490839 285) to connector, and black lead wire to ground. Set Checker to resistance values and note gauge position with ignition ON. See RESISTANCES FOR OIL PRESSURE METER TESTING table.
- Allow two minutes for each setting of checker to correctly judge condition. If needle displays correct value, replace sending unit. If needle does not display correct value, replace oil pressure meter.
