Repair and Diagnosis: Transmission: Clutches: Description
Clutch is a dry, single disc, diaphragm spring type. Clutch actuation is hydraulic, using a firewall mounted master cylinder and a transmission mounted slave cylinder. A pre-lubricated clutch release bearing is also used. While all clutch assemblies are similar, Rotary models position the clutch release fork differently and utilize a nonadjustable clutch. Some 808 models also use nonadjustable clutch fork assemblies.
