Idle Switch

Remove idle switch connector and check for conduction between ignition switch terminal (terminal "A"), and No. 1 control box terminal (terminal "C"). There should be no conduction between ignition switch terminal (terminal "A") and coasting valve terminal (terminal "C") when external force is not applied to switch knob (primary throttle valve in idle position). If there is no conduction between ignition switch terminal and No. 1 control box terminal, and there is conduction between ignition switch terminal and coasting valve terminal when external force applied (throttle valve open), idle switch is normal.
