Transmission Park by Wire Manual Release

Activation 

1. Apply the parking brake and chock the wheels.

2. Remove the park override lever bolt.

3. Move the park override lever to the park override position.

4. Install the park override lever bolt.

   Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

   NOTE: When the repair is complete, the park override lever must be returned to the normal operating position.
5. Remove and discard the park override lever bolt.

6. Move the park override lever to the normal operating position.

7. Install a

   NEW  park override lever bolt (7P219).

   Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
