Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks
- Certain Lane Keeping System (LKS) concerns can be caused by the IPMA being too cold or overheating due to heavy sunload. Prior to diagnosing a lane keeping system concern, allow the vehicle to warm up or remove the vehicle from direct sunlight. RECHECK after 10 minutes.
- Inspect the Lane Keeping System (LKS) settings in the IPC message center to be sure the concern is not caused by a system setting.
