Pinpoint Test B : DTC U300D:11: Notes
REFER to: Four-Wheel Drive Systems - System Operation and Component Description . Refer to Wiring Diagram Four Wheel Drive Systems for schematic and connector information.
Normal Operation
The TCCM receives ignition switch position status from the hardwired run/start input to TCCM and the ignition switch position status message communicated by the IPC over the HS-CAN. The ignition switch position status message originates from the BCM which communicates the ignition switch position status over the MS-CAN (medium speed-controller area network). The IPC acts as a gateway module, transferring the ignition switch status message from MS-CAN to HS-CAN. For information regarding network messaging, REFER to: Communications Network .
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| U300D:11 | Ignition Input On/Start: Circuit Short To Ground | This DTC sets when the ignition switch position status message broadcast by the BCM over the HS-CAN does not match the hardwired run/start input circuit voltage signal at the TCCM. |
