Adaptive steering system lock failure	When this message is present in the message center, the powertrain is set to a fail-safe mode (also known as limp-home mode) and vehicle speed is limited to 15 km/h (9 mph). Also while in this mode, the adaptive steering system integrity cannot be verified and appropriate service action should be taken as soon as possible. RETRIEVE all SECM DTCs and GO to the DTC Chart: Steering Effort Control Module (SECM) in appropriate Instrumentation, Message Center and Warning Chimes.
