Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the center instrument panel upper finish panel. Refer to Instrument Panel and Console .
  2. Remove the 4 bolts and remove the Front Display Interface Module (FDIM).

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    • To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

  3. NOTE: This step is only necessary if replacing the FDIM.

    Remove the 3 screws, disconnect the electrical connectors and separate the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) from the FDIM.

    • To install, tighten to 0.6 Nm (5 lb-in).

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
