Transmission Fluid Cooler: Installation

Install the transmission fluid cooler.

Install the transmission fluid cooler and bracket.

Raise the cooling module and install the cooling module support bracket bolts.
Torque:

159 lb.in (18 Nm)

Verify the foam insulation is in place. Install new foam insulation if necessary.

Inspect the transmission fluid cooler tube seals and backing rings. If necessary, install new seals and backing rings. Lubricate the seals and backing rings.

Install the transmission fluid cooler tube-to-transmission fluid cooler bolts.
Torque:

97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Install the transmission fluid cooler tube bracket bolt.
Torque:

44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Install the active grille shutters. Refer to: Active Grille Shutter .
Check the transmission fluid level and adjust as necessary. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
