Selector Lever Cable: Removal

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe 2.3L EcoBoost .
  2. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner 2.0L EcoBoost .
  3. Apply the parking brake.

  4. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the transmission manual lever, remove the bolt and the clip.

  5. Disconnect the selector lever cable retainers.

  6. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the TRCM, remove the selector lever cable bolt and clip and remove the selector lever cable.
