Pinpoint Test P : DTC P07ED: Notes

DTC P07ED 

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The BCM provides battery power to the GSM. The brake transmission shift interlock override switch receives power from the GSM. When the brake transmission shift interlock override switch is held the GSM flashes indicating the vehicle is in Neutral Hold for towing purpose. The brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI) override switch has two redundant contacts that allow the vehicle to override the BTSI. The GSM push buttons have three redundant contacts for each pushbutton selection, P, R, N, D, S.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
P07ED Transmission Range Multi-Function Select Circuit Stuck This DTC sets when the GSM detects either of the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) Override Switch contacts or any of the P, R, N, D, or S shifter button contacts have been closed for 30 seconds or more.
