Component Description: RGTM

The RGTM sends a voltage signal to the exterior liftgate release switch. When the switch is pressed, the signal is routed to ground, indicating a request to release the liftgate latch.

The RGTM also receives a messages from the BCM upon a valid request from the passive entry system or a RKE transmitter.

The RGTM controls liftgate latch release based on the inputs it receives.

The RGTM does not require PMI when it is replaced.
