Selector Lever Cable: Removal

  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray
  2. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the transmission manual lever.

  3. Remove the selector cable retaining clip bolt.

  4. Release the clip and detach the selector lever cable from the selector lever cable bracket.

  5. Remove the selector lever cable nut.

  6. Detach the selector lever cable.

    1. Detach the selector lever cable from the retainer.
    2. Detach the selector lever cable retainer.

  7. Remove the RH fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield
  8. Detach the selector lever cable from the TRCM lever.

  9. Remove the selector lever cable retaining clip bolt.

  10. Release the tab and detach the selector lever cable from the selector lever cable bracket.

  11. Remove the selector lever cable.
