Brake Shift Interlock Override Switch: Removal

  1. Open the floor console arm rest.

  2. Release the clips and remove the floor console rear trim panel.

  3. NOTE: Seats shown removed for clarity.

    Remove the RH floor console side trim panel

    1. Release the RH floor console side trim panel clips.
    2. Pull rearward to release the front RH floor console side trim panel clips, and remove the trim panel.

  4. Disconnect the RH floor console side trim panel electrical connector.

    Remove the LH floor console side trim panel

    1. Release the LH floor console side trim panel clips.
    2. Pull rearward to release the front LH floor console side trim panel clips, and remove the trim panel.

  6. Disconnect the LH floor console side trim panel electrical connector.

  7. Remove the bolts, unclip the retainers and position the floor console finish panel aside.

  8. Disconnect the brake shift interlock actuator override switch electrical connector.

  9. Remove and discard the nut and remove the brake shift interlock actuator override switch.
