DTC C1B00: Steering Angle Sensor: Description

While the ignition is ON and the voltage supply to the PSCM is above 6.5 volts, the module monitors the motor inside the EPAS gear to calculate the relative and actual steering wheel angle. This value is transmitted to other modules over the HS-CAN.

• DTC C1B00:00 (Steering Angle Sensor: No Sub Type Information) - If the PSCM turns counter indicates an error has occurred, DTC C1B00:62 is set.
• DTC C1B00:2F (Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Erratic) - If the cumulative EPAS motor position exceeds a calibrated threshold, DTC C1B00:2F sets.
