Description And Operation: Refrigerator: Overview
The floor console refrigerator operates with the ignition in the ON position. The refrigerator should only be used when the engine is running. If there is a need to use the unit when the engine is off, limit usage time to avoid draining the battery.
The refrigerator controller circuit board saves the refrigerator mode (OFF, COOL, or FREEZE) into memory only when the ignition is in the ON position. When the refrigerator is active and the ignition is placed in the OFF position, the refrigerator will turn off. When the ignition is placed in the ON position, the refrigerator/freezer will automatically activate to the last known state that is stored in the refrigerator controller circuit board memory.
The refrigerator/freezer is equipped with the following:
- Compressor driver module (located in the rear floor console)
- Refrigerator assembly (consisting of a condenser cooling fan, compressor, condenser, refrigerator chamber, refrigerator controller circuit board, and refrigerator temperature sensor).
- Refrigerator switch (located on the rear floor console)
