Brake Shift Interlock Actuator - Column Shift: Installation

1. 1.
   
   Install the park position switch.

   1. 1.
      
      Place the large plunger on the park position switch in the locating hole and position the switch as shown in illustration.

   1. 2.
      
      Rotate the park position switch counterclockwise making sure the tab locks under the housing lip.

   Verify the small plunger is fully extended.

   Install the BSIA.

   1. 1.
      
      Insert the BSIA into the selector lever mechanism housing.

   1. 2.
      
      Gently push the snap lock clip in place.

   Install the BSIA screw.
   • Tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

   Install the selector lever mechanism. Refer to Selector Lever Mechanism .
