Gearshift Module (GSM): Removal

NOTE: It is not necessary to carry out a PMI when installing a new GSM.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the FCIM. Refer to: Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) - Vehicles With: SYNC 2 . Refer to: Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) - Vehicles With: Harman Revel Audio System/SYNC 2 .
Remove the trim panel.
