The thermostat housing must be removed to service the Knock Sensor (KS). For additional information, REFER to

The lower intake manifold must be removed to service the Knock Sensor (KS). For additional information, REFER to
ENGINE -3.5L

ENGINE -3.7L

NOTE:
Remove and discard the coolant tube O-ring seal. Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean engine coolant before installing the coolant tube.
