Normal Operation
The steering gear has 3 isolators, these isolators aid in reducing NVH experienced through the steering system.
One or more of the isolators being damaged or missing, or the fasteners being loose, damaged or missing, can cause NVH concerns. Most noticeably a clunk, rattle or knocking noise.
This test generates a RVC for a new PSCM when directed to do so from pinpoint test.
