Generator - 2.0L GTDI: Installation

Position the generator and hand tighten the 3 bolts. Tighten in the sequence shown in illustration.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

Connect the generator electrical connector and install the nut.
- Tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).

Position the power steering pump and install the 3 bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

Install the upper Charge Air Cooler (CAC) pipe. For additional information, refer to Intake Air System Components - Exploded View in INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise and position the accessory drive belt.

Connect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
