Selector Lever - Paddle Shift: Removal

NOTE: This procedure shows removal and installation of the LH paddle shifter. Removal and installation of the RH paddle shifter is similar.
    NOTE: Steering wheel in illustration is shown turned to remove the LH paddle shifter. When removing the RH paddle shifter, turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction.
  1. Turn the steering wheel far enough to access the inner paddle shifter screw.
    • Turn the steering wheel clockwise if removing the LH paddle shifter.
    • Turn the steering wheel counterclockwise if removing the RH paddle shifter.

  2. Using a suitable tool, gently pry the bottom of the paddle shifter cover up and remove the paddle shifter cover.

  3. Remove the 2 paddle shifter screws.

  4. Using a suitable nylon trim tool, gently pry the corner of the back steering wheel trim cover loose from the steering wheel. Position aside the back steering wheel trim cover and remove the paddle shifter from the steering wheel.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the paddle shifter.
