Throttle Body: Installation

    NOTE: Install a new TB gasket.
  1. Install the TB and the 4 bolts. Tighten the bolts in 2 stages.
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
    • Stage 2: Rotate an additional 90 degrees.
  2. Connect the TAC and the TP sensor electrical connectors.
  3. Install the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING article.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
