Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING article.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil-on-plug.
  4. Remove the bolt from the ignition coil-on-plug.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  5. Remove the ignition coil-on-plug.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
