Low/Reverse Clutch Assembly: Disassembly

NOTE: The low/reverse clutch plates are installed in the case during the assembly procedure.
  1. Remove the roller bearing on the center support.

  3. Using the special tool, remove the retaining ring.

  5. Remove the low/reverse clutch return spring.

  7. Remove the low/reverse clutch baffle plate retainers.

  9. Remove the low/reverse clutch baffle plate and piston from the low/reverse clutch drum.

  11. Separate the low/reverse clutch baffle plate from the piston.

  13. Remove and discard the low/reverse clutch baffle plate outer O-ring seal.

  15. Remove and discard the low/reverse inner piston O-ring seals.

  17. Remove and discard the low/reverse drum O-ring seal.
