Accelerator Pedal and Bracket: Installation

  1. Install the accelerator pedal and bracket assembly.
  2. Install the 3 accelerator pedal and bracket retaining nuts. Tighten nuts to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
  3. Connect the accelerator pedal motor drive cable connector.
  4. Connect the accelerator pedal motor electrical connector.
  5. Connect the accelerator pedal sensor electrical connector.
  6. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  7. Index the adjustable accelerator pedal and bracket assembly. For additional information, refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION .
