Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE .
  2. Disconnect the 2 EGR system module-to-exhaust manifold tube flange nuts and remove the tube.
    • Remove the EGR tube-to-exhaust manifold gasket and discard.
    • Clean the EGR tube-to-exhaust manifold sealing surfaces.
    • To install, tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Install a new EGR tube-to-exhaust manifold gasket.
