Windshield Wiper

1. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration. To remove individual components, only carry out the listed steps.

2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 1: Windshield Wiper Pivot Arm Removal Note 

1. Remove the pivot arm.
   1. Pull up on the pivot arm.
   2. Pull out on the retainer tab and remove the pivot arm.

Item 2: Cowl Panel Grille Removal Note 

NOTE: The cowl panel grille is held in place by clips.
1. Remove the RH side cowl grille panel before removing the LH side cowl panel grille.

Item 5: Windshield Wiper Motor and Tube Assembly Removal Note 

CAUTION: The internal permanent magnets used in the windshield wiper motor are made of a glass-like material. To avoid damaging the magnets, do not strike the motor with a hammer or any other object.
1. Remove the bolts and wiper motor.
