Torque Converter End Play Check

Install the special tool into the torque converter until it bottoms out.
- Tighten the inner post until the tool is securely locked.

Install the special tool on the converter impeller housing and zero the dial.

Lift up on the special tool and note the dial indicator reading. If the reading exceeds end play limits, install new or rebuilt torque converter.
