Steering Wheel: Installation

  1. Install the steering wheel and a new steering wheel retaining bolt.

  2. Install the horn blow switch. For additional information, see HORN - SWITCH .
    3. WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all warnings, cautions, notes and instructions in the driver air bag removal and installation procedure.
  3. Install the driver air bag. For additional information, see DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .
    4. WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all warnings, cautions, notes and instructions in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) deactivation procedure.
  4. Reactivate the supplemental restrain system (SRS). For additional information, see SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEACTIVATION AND REACTIVATION .
