In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Installation

NOTE: The crankshaft dowel must be positioned below the outer face of the flexplate.

Install the flexplate with the elongated hole over the crankshaft dowel.

Install the flexplate bolts and tighten in two stages in the sequence shown.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
- Stage 2: Tighten to 110 Nm (81 lb-ft).
