Fluid Pump

A variable displacement pump supplies fluid under pressure to the hydraulic system. The torque converter cover rotates a driveshaft that operates the pump.

The pump assembly has the following parts:

• body (part of the main control)
• cover
• rotor with vanes and related parts
• pivoting bore ring with a pump priming spring
