WARNING:
Vehicle may be equipped with side air bags. Before testing or repairing components around driver's and passenger's seats, disable side air bags. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected or modules are replaced, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE:
Before replacing any control module, ensure all module ground and power circuits are functioning properly. For circuit identification, see GROUND DISTRIBUTION and POWER DISTRIBUTION articles in WIRING DIAGRAMS.
