Test O: Smart Lock Does Not Operate Properly

  1. Open driver door. If courtesy lights illuminate, go to next step. If courtesy lights do not illuminate, repair appropriate interior light circuit(s) as necessary. See ILLUMINATION/INTERIOR LIGHTS article.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Open driver door. If warning chimes operate, replace DDM. See DRIVER DOOR MODULE (DDM)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If warning chimes do not operate, repair appropriate warning chime circuit(s) as necessary. See appropriate WIRING DIAGRAMS under WARNING SYSTEMS.
