Test O: Smart Lock Does Not Operate Properly
NOTE:
Ignition switch must be cycled from LOCK to RUN position to enable Switched System Power (SSP) feature. Always enable SSP feature before proceeding with test procedures.
- Open driver's door. If courtesy lights illuminate, go to next step. If courtesy lights do not illuminate, repair appropriate interior light circuit(s) as necessary. See AUTOLAMP SYSTEMS - LS article.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Open driver's door. If warning chimes operate, replace Driver's Door Module (DDM). See DRIVER'S DOOR MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If warning chimes do not operate, repair appropriate warning chime circuit(s) as necessary. See ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - LS article.
