Removal And Installation: Tubes: Removal

CAUTION: Do not attempt to separate the fluid cooler inlet tube (7A030) and the fluid cooler tube (7A031) from the transaxle fittings by prying with a tool. Damage to the fluid cooler inlet tube or the fluid cooler tube or fittings will result.
  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist; refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
  2. Remove the retaining clip from the transaxle fittings.

  3. NOTE: No disconnect tool is required to remove the lower fluid cooler tube.
  4. Depress the tabs on the plastic insert retainer.
    • Pull the lower tube from the transaxle fitting.
    • Remove the lower fittings from the transaxle.

  5. NOTE: No disconnect tool is required to remove the upper fluid cooler inlet tube.
  6. Depress the tabs on the plastic insert retainer.
    • Pull the upper fluid cooler inlet tube from the transaxle fittings.
    • Remove the fittings from the transaxle.

  7. Loosen the clamp and remove the fluid cooler inlet tube from the radiator (8005).
