Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. ABS control module and Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) are a complete assembly. Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) assembly is located in left front corner of engine compartment. Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Disconnect pump/motor electrical connector. Release ABS control module electrical connector locking tab and disconnect connector. Remove ABS control module mounting bolts and remove ABS control module from vehicle.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ABS control module mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
