Front Suspension: Description

Front suspension has enclosed coil springs located between lower control arms and upper frame spring housings. See Fig 1. Side roll is controlled by stabilizer bar, connected to lower control arms. Stabilizer bar is mounted in rubber bushings, which are clamped to frame side rails. Installation of new front strut assemblies and/or springs in pairs is not required by manufacturer. Replace front suspension assemblies and/or springs one at a time as required. Ball joints and control arm pivot bushings may also be replaced individually.
