Test 4: Stability Assist System Cannot Be Disabled

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCS switch connector (C308). Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between TCS switch connector terminal No. 3 (Green/White wire) and ground. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair Green/White wire.
  2. Turn ignition off. Measure resistance between TCS switch terminal No. 3 (component side) and terminal No. 4 (component side), while depressing TCS switch. See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace TCS switch.
  3. Disconnect ABCM connector (C155). Measure resistance between ABCM connector terminal No. 9 (White/Violet wire) and TCS switch connector terminal No. 4 (White/Violet wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace ABCM. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair White/Violet wire.
